Dallas, Texas – London Broadcasting Company announced today the acquisition of
Fox Affiliates and MyNetwork TV stations in Abilene and San Angelo,
Texas. London Broadcasting purchased KXVA-TV (Abilene), KIDY –TV (San
Angelo), KIDU-CD (Brownwood), KIDB-LD (Sweetwater), KIDV-CD (Albany) and
KIDT-CD (Stamford).
The stations were purchased from Bayou City Broadcasting, LLC, a Houston based
company controlled by DuJuan McCoy. McCoy bought the stations in 2008.
With this acquisition London Broadcasting Company now operates 25 channels in
Texas, serving 7 of the states 19 television markets. London owned stations reach
over 10 million people or 40% of the state population.

A.C. Nielson Company ranks the Abilene market as 164th in the U.S. serving
312,000 people in 117,000 households. San Angelo is the 197th television market in
the U.S., serving 147,000 people in 57,000 households.
London Broadcasting Company is now the largest mid-market broadcaster in Texas.
London operates stations in Dallas-Ft Worth (DMA #5), Waco-Killeen-Temple-BryanCollege Station (DMA #88) , Tyler-Longview (DMA #107), Corpus Christi (DMA #129) Beaumont-Port Arthur (DMA #141), Abilene (DMA # 164) and San Angelo (DMA #197). Station affiliates include NBC, ABC, Fox, CBS, MeTV, CW, MyTV,
THIS, and MundoFox.
